Rich Janitor Scam

Just checked out the Rich Janitor scam on the Web today—what a piece of crap. I know it may seem like I’m coming out of the gate with “both guns loaded” on this one, but I’ve seen enough of these types of programs to recognize a flimsy bunch of B.S. when it’s presented to me. And folks—the “Rich Janitor” so-called “money making system” is so full of over-hyped fluff that I hardly even know where to start. The program is aimed at complete internet marketing noobs who will only find out much later how worthless this program is once they’ve forked their money over in an all-out “dollar-signs-in-their-eyes” frenzy. It’s simply a bunch of re-hashed themes we’ve all heard before…as usual, it starts out with some dude telling the famous “My life was a total disaster, I was divorced/broke/homeless/fired/suicidal/whatever else” story, and then lo and behold, at the lowest point possible in his life, he “stumbles upon” the secret to making jillions of dollars a day online. Give me a massive break. And of course, there’s always the story of the “friend” that he has to tell about his new money making prowess—although I will have to admit, this was a little bit of a twist on the usual story—normally, the “friend” is the one that has made the money-making discovery of a lifetime and then informs the guy writing the sales pitch about it. So I’ll give them a couple of brownie points for switching the scenario around. But anyway, long story short, the whole gist of the program is that they’re offering some fancy-pants article spinning and submission software—nothing too out-of-the-ordinary based on what I could see from the crappy video example—and supposedly, if you just click a few drop-down menus, this software can spit out a churned article based on your keywords, and then you take that same article, blast it across thousands of directories, and then sit back and watch the cash roll in. Yeah, right.

The Rich Janitor is a Scam

So the basic premise of the Rich Janitor scam is a supposedly simple formula: Automated article marketing + Clickbank (or some other affiliate) products = kazillons of dollars, or so they claim. The reason why I suspect that it’s Clickbank products you’ll be promoting is because of the fake-as-heck photo of his crumpled-up earnings printout—you know, the one that he supposedly “slammed” on the table in front of his friend in a brazen display of money-making authority—and it looks just like a Clickbank earnings report. So, more than likely, they’re going to tell you to buy this crappy article spinning software, submit your crappy spun articles to a bunch of more-than-likely-sub-par article directories, and I’m sure they’re going to tell you that all you need to do is include your affiliate link in the article footers, and then, just like magic, you’ll be drowning in a tsunami of Clickbank profits. Folks, as much as you and I would love to believe this is true, it freakin’ AIN’T. Your articles, without doing some serious link building for each article, will be buried in the sea of other insignificant content on the Web, and if you think that you’re going to get some massive burst of traffic from article directories, please keep dreaming. Everyone knows that article directories exist mainly to provide backlinks, not to garner traffic. Some people may debate me on this, and they may think that this Rich Janitor (who, by the way, are probably the same people that came up with the Rich Jerk marketing series a while ago) system has some merit, and they may criticize me by saying “Don’t knock it till you try it”, but I will the first to tell you to go buy the system, try it out for yourself, and see if it produces even a freakin’ fraction of what they’re claiming in their sales letter, even with the token “ironclad guarantee”. They also use the age-old tactic of “We’re gonna shut this down soon, so get in while you still have a chance” bullcrap. Folks, truth be told, they’ll keep that sales letter up for two more decades if it continues to bring in the cash. As a matter of fact, the only way—and I mean the ONLY WAY—that you could possibly make money with the Rich Janitor system is by reselling the system itself, which is what most Internet Marketing “systems” are all about in the first place. If you doubt this, just scroll to the bottom of the Rich Janitor’s excruciatingly long sales letter and click the link that says “Affiliates earn up to $350 EASY”. You’ll quickly discover that practically ALL of the attention is really focused on reselling the product, way more than actually using what’s in the product to make money. What a rip—there’s so many “get rich quick” products that operate on this same premise, that it’s actually pathetic. And I know that I’m pissing in a lot of affiliates’ soup, because I’m actually telling the truth about this product instead of setting up some fake “review” site that actually ends up trying to direct you to the sales page for this offer. Folks, THE RICH JANITOR SCAM IS TOTAL CRAP. And I’m not just saying that for “shock value”, only to follow it up with some lame sales pitch for the product. No, I really mean it—the product is total crap. Again, I haven’t personally bought it, and some people may hold that against me, but let’s quit fooling ourselves, and quit chasing these stupid forty-dollar fantasies, and get on with being diligent, working hard, finding a reasonable method of bringing in money that will actually amount to something and not be a total rip-off. REAL internet marketing is HARD work, patience, and diligence, and you have to know up front that it’s not going to happen overnight, much to the contrary of this Rich Janitor scam crap that claims you can make tons of money without doing too much more than breathing. Again I say, give me a massive break. One last thing: I challenge anyone out there to show me bona-fide proof that they have made money with the Rich Janitor system, NOT by promoting the system as an affiliate, but by actually implementing the article marketing “system” that it describes. I’ve been around the block long enough to know that I won’t have too many takers, if any.
